The Internet Place, Inc. was founded in 1994 and began as a full service ISP in January 1995. Since it's initiation TIP has successfully provided dial-up access and web site hosting with our Network Operations Center located in Berwick, Pa. In recent years the company added Clearaccess Wireless service for residential and commercial customers in selected service areas. We added a second Network Operations Center in Bloomsburg PA in 2005 which added Bloomsburg to our ClearAccess footprint. Our local access business remains strong and we have plans to increase our business ClearAccess customer base during 2007.
In January 2000, The Web Host Place was officially launched as a subsidiary to enable us to concentrate on web site design and hosting on a national level. Growth in site design and hosting continues and in 2005 we were able to reach out to Latin America where we have a sales representative working from Tegucigalpa Honduras. We hosted our first international client in early 2006. Because of this growth, plans are for the Bloomsburg NOC to provide redundancy to our Hosting Servers.
Developing a web site is only part of our service to customers. Reliable Hosting and search engine placement are other areas where our Web services remain above average. We work with our customers to help their web sites increase traffic through careful attention to current search requirements insuring that our customer's sites attain suitable positioning on the leading search engines.
In 2006 our hosting and web design capabilities were increased to provide Web Based Application Systems for companies that need access to their data from anywhere in the world. Currently our staff has the ability to design and develop Web Applications that provide Data Entry, Storage, and Transfer capabilities utilizing our servers and network connections. These applications can also be utilized on an Business Intranet or Company VPN.
For the future, the focus of our company is working to develop strong growth in the Web Site and Application Design for small and medium sized businesses. Our growth will come through our hard work and commitment to our customers providing them with innovative, reliable and quality Web Site design and hosting.
